The 2017 Nissan 370Z is a two-seat sports car that is available in six different trim levels and two body styles. The trim levels are the base 370Z, the Sport, the Touring, the Sport Tech, the Nismo, and the Nismo Tech. You can buy your 2017 370Z as a hatchback coupe or a soft-top convertible. The convertible Roadster model is only offered in base, Touring, and Touring Sport trim levels. All models come well-equipped with bi-xenon headlights and LED running and tail lights, along with keyless entry/ignition.
Engine (Power)
No matter which 2017 Nissan 370Z you buy, it will come equipped with a 3.7-liter V-6. The big difference between trims is that non-Nismo trims have 332 horsepower and deliver 270 lb-ft of torque. While this is more than enough power for the average driver, those who want maximum velocity can step up to the Nismo trim packages. These come with an upgraded version of the 3.7-liter V-6 that has been cranked to 350 horsepower and pumps out 276 lb-ft of torque.
Performance
All 370Z coupes, Touring, and Touring Sport roadsters come standard with a six-speed manual gearbox. The Sport or Sport Tech's manual gearboxes come equipped with SynchroRev Match. This system has a driver-selectable feature that automatically taps the throttle when downshifting for a silky smooth shifting experience. You can order an optional seven-speed automatic that features manual shifting and downshift rev matching for all 370Z coupe trims. This comes standard on the base Roadster.
Interior
The interior of the 2017 Nissan 370Z is tight, yet very comfortable, and features the latest in NASA-inspired "Zero Gravity" seats that can only be found in Nissan vehicles. These comfortable seats feature bolsters designed to keep you firmly in your seat during high-speed cornering. Top trim levels include full Bluetooth connectivity for hands-free calling and streaming your favorite music. One very impressive feature of the 370Z is that the instrument cluster moves along with the tilt steering wheel to make sure the driver can always see them.
Safety Features
Every version of the 2017 370Z comes equipped with four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, the latest in Nissan traction and stability controls, and a dearth of air bags. Coupe models come with side curtain air bags, and roadsters have side air bags designed to extend upward to protect you in the event of a collision. A rearview camera is also standard on the upper trim coupe models and on all roadster models.
