2022 Jeep Gladiator
The Jeep Gladiator is one of the coolest-looking pickup trucks on the road. With its Wrangler looks and functional bed, this truck will get the job done, and it can take you off-road to do it. The Gladiator is also more versatile than your average truck, with removable body panels and a windshield that folds down to give passengers an open-air ride. Take a look at a few details for the 2022 Gladiator.

Trim Levels (Exterior)
The entry-level Gladiator is the Sport. It comes with manually adjustable side mirrors, a Class II bumper hitch, skid plates, front and rear tow hooks, an engine oil cooler, and the Sunrider soft-top. It also has 17-inch steel wheels and a full-size spare. The Sport S adds 17-inch alloy wheels and body-colored fender flares, while stepping up to the Overland gets you automatic headlights, heated and power-adjustable side mirrors, and 18-inch wheels. The Rubicon adds more off-road capabilities with 33-inch all-terrain tires, Fox shocks, extra skid plates, and rock rails. At the top of the lineup, you'll find the Mojave. It has a reinforced frame, Fox internal bypass shocks, a 1-inch lift, and an improved transfer case.
Engine (Power)
Jeep gives you a choice between two engines for the Gladiator. The first is a 3.6-liter V-6 that puts out 285 horsepower, and the second is a 3.0-liter turbodiesel V-6 that makes 260 horsepower and generates 442 pound-feet of torque. The 3.6-liter comes standard with a six-speed manual transmission, and there's an eight-speed automatic for the turbodiesel, which you can opt for with the other engine.
Performance
The Gladiator has better on-road manners than the shorter Wrangler, but just like the Wrangler, it shines when you take it off-road. It can drive through up to 30 inches of water and has axle ratios that make it capable of crawling over large rocks and boulders. When equipped with the available tow package, it can tow up to 4,000 pounds.
Interior
There's room for up to five in the Gladiator, with storage under the rear bench seat. The rear-seat passengers enjoy more legroom than in most other pickup trucks, and everyone has plenty of headroom. The Sport has cloth upholstery and other basics, but you can get leather upholstery in the higher trims. A 7-inch touch screen comes in the lower trims, with an 8.4-inch touch screen available. Additional tech features include satellite radio, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a nine-speaker Alpine stereo, USB ports, and a 115-volt power outlet. Navigation is also available.
The optional 8.4 Radio and Premium Audio Group comes with Uconnect 4C, which also has the full suite of SiriusXM features, including traffic and Travel Link.
Safety Features
Every Gladiator comes standard with a rearview mirror, traction and stability control, and air bags. The Jeep Active Safety Group gets you a blind-spot monitor, rear parking sensors, and rear cross-traffic alert, and the Overland adds the option for adaptive cruise control. The Advanced Safety Group is also available. It comes with full-speed forward-collision warning system, active braking, and adaptive cruise control.
