The newest Golf Alltrack has three trim levels: S, SE, and SEL. All three trims have silver roof rails and LED license plate lighting. To account for different terrains, each model has a rugged bumper and an increased ground clearance of 6.9 inches.

The S and SE trim levels come with 17-inch Valley alloy wheels and 17-inch all-season tires, while the SEL trim has 18-inch Canyon alloy wheels and 18-inch all-season tires. The SE and SEL trims are a step up from the S trim; both models are equipped with automatic headlights and a power sliding panoramic sunroof.

Seven different colors are available for the exterior, including Platinum Gray Metallic, Tornado Red, Silk Blue Metallic, Pure White, and Deep Black Pearl.
Engine
As far as power goes, the Golf Alltrack does not disappoint. All three trim levels come with a 1.8-liter, four-cylinder, 16-valve turbocharged engine. Providing 170 horsepower and a maximum of 199 pound-feet of torque, this vehicle gives you the speed and power you need.
Performance
The new Gold Alltrack performs beautifully, giving you extra traction with its standard 4Motion all-wheel drive. The Hill Descent Control makes for a smooth drive, and shifting gears is easier than ever thanks to the paddle shifters located near the steering wheel.
Interior
All three trim levels come standard with modern features, such as heated front seats; a rearview camera system; a touch-screen sound system with voice control; Bluetooth with audio streaming; and a leather-wrapped, multifunction steering wheel. The rear seats fold down to provide 66.5 cubic feet of cargo space.

Seating up to five people, the new Golf Alltrack has different front seat options depending on the trim level. The S and SE models have eight-way, partial power-adjustable front seats, while the SEL model upgrades the driver's side to a 12-way power-adjustable seat. All trim levels have a V-Tex leatherette interior that is available in four different colors, such as Quart Gray and Marrakesh Brown.
Safety
The 2017 Golf Alltrack passes the safety test with flying colors, gaining a Five-Star Safety Rating from the NHTSA. The front end is crash-optimized, and the vehicle has a strong safety cage. It even has an Intelligent Crash Response System that reacts to a crash by unlocking the doors and turning on the hazard lights for you.

While the Alltrack can withstand a traffic accident, it works hard to prevent one from happening in the first place. It has an impressive total of seven stability-enhancing systems, including electronic stability control and electronic break-pressure distribution.
