2018 Chrysler 300
From 1955 to 1965, the Chrysler 300 Series made the hemispherical combustion chamber famous. The 2018 Chrysler 300 honors that street-legal race car. When it debuted in 2005, it was a modern classic looking like no other. The look has changed little since then, but the comfort, performance, and technology have not stopped advancing.
Trim Levels (Exterior)

The base Touring model includes 17-inch wheels, power front seats, and cloth upholstery. The Touring L adds leather, dual-zone climate control, 18-inch wheels, and heated front seats.

The Limited version features a sunroof, wood trim, ventilated front seats, and heated back seats.

The 300S is the performance version with a sport-tuned suspension, 20-inch wheels, and paddle shifters with Sport Mode.

The 300C is the muscle car model with a Hemi V-8, quilted front seats, and additional leather and wood trim. The 300C Platinum adds more metallic touches.

Engine (Power)

A 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 comes standard. It provides 292 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. It gets 19 mpg in the city and 30 on the highway.

The 300s is powered by the same V-6, but a cold-air intake and performance exhaust bumps the performance up to 300 horsepower and 264 pound-feet of torque. The fuel economy is 18/27.

The 300C upgrades to the 5.7 liter Hemi V-8, which delivers 363 horsepower and 394 pound-feet of torque. Fuel economy is 16 mpg in the city and 25 on the highway.

Performance

All models come standard with rear-wheel drive. All V-6 models have the option of all-wheel drive.

Reviewers love the standard eight-speed automatic. They call it smartly programmed and intuitive. Upshifts are quick. It always is in the right gear to power through a turn. The S and C models come with paddle shifters to let you rev during performance driving and downshift in the snow.

The ride is smooth and solid, like you'd expect from a big luxury sedan. The S and C versions get a sport-tuned suspension for tighter, more responsive handling.

Properly equipped, the 300 will tow 1,000 pounds.

Interior

You'll find a lot of space inside the 300. Elbow room in the front seats is generous and the rear will fit three big adults. The trunk holds a cavernous 16.3 cubic feet. The 300C includes nappa leather and unique open wood that gets more interesting with age.

You have several audio choices. Pick the standard six-speaker system, the 276-watt upgraded system, the 552-watt setup from Beats by Dr. Dre, or the 900-watt 19-speaker Harmon Kardon symphony.

The driver information digital cluster uses a combination of familiar gauges and a futuristic customizable digital display.

Safety Features

All models come with a driver knee air bag, hill-start assist, and backup camera. You can add forward-collision warning, blind spot monitoring, automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, and adaptive cruise control. Thinner roof pillars on the 2018 version provide improved visibility.

The 2018 Chrysler 300 respects the original version but charges ahead to the future. With more convenience, power, luxury, and sophistication, the 300 has never been better.

Compare to 2017 300
