Trim Levels
To customize your new 2018 Nissan Titan, you can start off by choosing one of five trims: S, SV, PRO-4X, SL, and Platinum Reserve. Aside from that you also get Single, King, and Crew cab sizes and either a 2x4 or a 4x4 drivetrain. The S trim offers basics like an audio system with a 5-inch display, air conditioning, and cruise control, and the SV adds to that with features like the Advanced Drive-Assist Display and Trailer Sway Control. The PRO-4X trim is the Titan's off-road trim, which means it comes with important features like Bilstein shocks, all-terrain tires that can take a real beating, and a locking rear differential. Next is the SL trim with its 12-speaker Rockford Fosgate sound system, and at the top of it all is the Platinum Reserve with its two-tone leather seats, 20-inch tires, and standard Around View Monitor.
Engine
The engine of the 2018 Titan is a potent V-8 that displaces 5.6 liters and pumps out 390 horsepower with 394 pound-feet of torque. The transmission on the Titan is a seven-speed automatic, and depending on the trim and configuration you can get up to 21 highway mpg. With the right configuration, the Titan can tow up to 9,730 pounds or carry up to 1,610 pounds.
Performance
The 2018 Nissan Titan has good performance numbers, but it also comes with plenty of useful features like the available Titan Boxes, a pair of lockable boxes that fit right into the bed and let you keep your gear out of the elements. Then there's the Utili-Track Channel System, which gives you a set of moveable anchors to tie down your cargo, no matter what its shape or size might be. The bed can also come with LED lights for cargo management after dark and a 120-volt outlet for power tools and tailgate party speakers. To help with trailers, there's the RearView Monitor with Guidelines that can help you line up and a Tow/Haul Mode for easier shifting.
Interior
If you want a nice interior in your truck, the 2018 Titan can deliver with the SL and Platinum Reserve trims. With these, you get features like an eight-way adjustable driver's seat, heated seats in both rows, and dual-zone automatic climate control. You also get cup holders big enough for insulated bottles and center-console storage big enough for tablets.
Safety Features
For safety, the 2018 Nissan Titan starts off with the Vehicle Dynamic Control with Traction Control System, a tire pressure monitoring system with the Easy-Fill Tire Alert, and six air bags. Depending on the trim you can also count on advanced features like a rear cross-traffic alert with a Blind Spot Warning and the Around View Monitor.
