2019 BMW 3 Series
The BMW 3 Series is a sports sedan with a sleek exterior look, plenty of power, and an unmistakable BMW identity. The 2019 model received a complete redesign with a new front end similar to the 5 and 7-series. Inside, the infotainment screen now sits up higher making it easier to see, and a new design for the dashboard. The 3 Series is also larger, has more technology, and is lighter than the previous model. Here are some of the details for the newly designed 2019 BMW 3 Series.

Compare to 2018 3 Series
Trim Levels (Exterior)
The 2019 3 Series will start with the 330i and the 330i xDrive. Later in the year, the M340i and the M340i xDrive will arrive, and then there is a 330e model in the works for 2020. The updated version of the 3 Series has an all-new look; although some of the design elements are subtle, so you might not notice them. In the back, there are now L-shaped taillights, and the overall design is cleaner and sleeker. The 2019 is taller than the previous model, wider by just under an inch, and it is almost three inches longer than the 2018.
The Engine (Power)
BMW offers two different engines with the 3 Series. The first, in the 330i, is a 2.0-liter twin-turbo four-cylinder that develops 255 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. This is seven more horsepower than before, and an additional 37 pound-feet of torque, due in part to the new 8-speed automatic transmission. The M340i will get a six-cylinder turbo engine that produces 382 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque, and this also gets the new 8-speed transmission.
Performance
Both engines will come standard with rear-wheel drive and offer the option for all-wheel drive. The 2019 S Series will get you up to 60 miles per hour in under six seconds, and the new suspension system uses a lift-related mechanical shock absorber to improve handling and ride comfort.
Interior
The 2019 3 Series has a more modern interior with the option for an all-digital dash. The extra length gives passengers more legroom, and the trunk is also larger offering about 17 cubic feet of cargo space with the rear seats up. The back seats also have a 20-40-20 split to help make it easy to accommodate both passengers and cargo. There is a new 8.8-inch touch screen which comes standard, and BMW offers the option to add Apple CarPlay. New for 2019, If if you upgrade to the iDrive 7.0 system you get a 10.25-inch touch screen with a navigation system that includes over-the-air map updates, and you also get the BMW Personal Assistant which you can use just by saying "Hey BMW."
Safety Features
All the 3 Series models come standard with a rearview camera, lane departure warning, and a collision warning system with pedestrian detection and automatic emergency braking. There are several optional packages available for those who want to add extra safety features such as blind-spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, and lane-keep assist.
