2020 Honda Ridgeline
The all-new 2020 Honda Ridgeline is packed with features that will change the way you look at mid-sized pickup trucks. Whether you're looking for innovative design and customizable options or durability and safety features, look no further than the Honda Ridgeline. As the winner of the 2019 Car and Driver's Best Mid-Size Pickup, the Ridgeline continues to meet top-quality standards.
Trim Levels (Exterior)
The 2020 Ridgeline comes in four different trim families, each with their own trim options. The Sport and RTL trims each feature two separate trim options while the RTL-E and Black Edition come as standard trim options. The Ridgeline's Sport trim options include the Sport Front-Wheel Drive and the Sport All-Wheel Drive. The RTL trim options include the RTL Front-Wheel Drive and the RTL All-Wheel Drive. Both the RTL-E and Black Edition come in standard All-Wheel Drive trim packages. All trims feature crew cabs and a 125.2-inch wheelbase. All trim levels feature a 5.3-foot truck bed length.
Engine (Power)
The Honda Ridgeline features a 3.5-liter V-6 engine, built with 280 horsepower. The Ridgeline's all-wheel-drive systems can tow up to 5000 pounds while the front-wheel-drive systems max out at 3,500 pounds. The 3.5-liter V-6 engine produces 262 pounds-per-foot of torque, and the new Ridgelines feature a 9-speed automatic transmission. Even though the 2020 Honda Ridgeline now comes in a standard engine size across all trim levels, the 280-horsepower means a comfortable ride with the capabilities of a mid-sized pickup.
Performance
The 2020 Ridgeline all-wheel-drive system performs well in all seasons. So if you live in a four-season location, the Ridgeline provides stability and high-performance all-weather capabilities. With coil-sprung independent rear suspension, the Honda Ridgeline makes the ride smoother than the leaf-sprung, solid-axle suspension commonly used in other pickups.
The Ridgeline also features responsive throttle, even in hard accelerations, and the body lean in corners is quite minimal. With electrically-assisted steering and other driver-assist features like automatic parking features, the Ridgeline's performance can stack up against the competition.
Interior
The 2020 Honda Ridgeline comes complete with a variety of interior features and options. Like most mid-sized pickups, the Ridgeline features hard plastics under the dashboard level, and its other interior materials are above-average. The Ridgeline's rear seats offer more space and comfort than other mid-sized trucks in its class, and features front seat armrests, making more room for the driver and passengers. The Ridgeline's truck bed also includes some unique features. Featured in the Ridgeline's bed is a locking, weather-tight trunk with 7.3 cubic feet of storage capacity.
In addition to its utility features, the 2020 Honda Ridgeline also provides room and comfort. With a large center console and movable back seats, the Ridgeline offers a variety of options for storing and transporting your valuables. All Ridgelines feature Honda's Display Audio System, an intuitive touch-system dashboard.
Safety Features
The Ridgeline isn't lacking in safety features, either. A key update to the 2020 models is the standard Honda Sensing driver-assistance system. Other safety features include the forward collision warning, automated emergency braking, road-departure prevention system, lane-keeping-assist features including a lane-departure alert. The Ridgeline also comes equipped with a standard cruise control system for controlling consistent speeds.
