Trim Level (Exterior)
The full-size, 4-door Ram 1500 has an aggressive stance with a scoop hood, beefy tires, a mean grille, chrome mirrors, and a sporty design. The asymmetrical split-opening tailgate adds additional flare to the rear.
Although all of the specific trim levels have yet to be released for the Ram 2020 1500, we are aware of a few that will be coming in 2020. Be on the lookout for the entry-level Tradesman with a Quad Cab and long bed, the Big Horn, and the top of the line Limited with Crew Cab.
Special packages will also be available, such as the Big Horn Night Edition package and the Rebel black appearance package. With the Big Horn Night Edition, you'll get blacked-out 20-inch wheels, black badges, black headlight bezels, and black accents inside the cabin. The Laramie Night Edition will include the same features, but with the addition of 22-inch blacked out wheels. Opt for the Rebel package and you'll find wheels with a fully blackened gloss finish, black badges, and black bumper and skid plates.
Engine (Power)
The 2020 Dodge Ram 1500 is powered by your choice of three engine options depending on which model you select. The base Ram 1500 has a 3.6-liter V-6 with an eTorque mild-hybrid system. This engine gets 305 horsepower and 269 pound-feet of torque. A 5.7-liter V-8 is also available on some models that pushes out 395 horsepower and gets 410 pound-feet of torque. Both the V-6 and V-8 engines are paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
For the efficiency-minded, opt for the 3.0-liter EcoDiesel turbocharged V-6 diesel engine. This beast gets 480 pound-feet of torque and cranks out 260 horsepower.
Performance
The Tradesman will feature 2-wheel drive as standard fare, while the Limited trim will be available in all-wheel drive. Additionally, the V-6 and V-8 engines are available in both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive.
Thanks to the powerful engine and 14 percent more torque than previous years' models, the 2020 Ram 1500 can to tow up to an impressive 12,560 pounds. This means you can easily tow your boat or trailer full of toys behind it on your next adventure. That said, the Ram 1500 uses aluminum in its structure, which gives it a lighter frame
Interior
Inside the 2020 Dodge Ram 1500 you'll find plenty of standard and available amenities that make your ride that much more comfortable and luxurious. Depending on the trim level, options include a leather steering wheel, rear 60/40 folding seat, metal-look gear shift knob, 4G LTE W-Fi hot spot, and 6-speaker audio system.

Standard and available safety features keep you safe while on the go. Features include side impact beams, dual stage driver and passenger front air bags, a ParkView back-up camera, and curtain first and second-row air bags.
