Trim Level (Exterior)
The 2021 BMW 3 Series comes in three unique trim levels: 330i, M340i, and 330e, the plug-in hybrid. You can also get variations of these trims with the 330i xDrive, M340i xDrive, and 330e xDrive. Each trim features a sleek exterior with subtle differences. For example, the 330i and 330e come with 18-inch V-spoke bi-color orbit gray wheels and a satin aluminum exterior trim, while the M340i has 18-inch M double-spoke bi-color orbit gray wheels and a shadowline exterior trim.
Engine (Power)
When it comes to power, the latest BMW 3 Series models don't disappoint. The 330i features a 2.0-liter BMW TwinPower Turbo inline four-cylinder engine that generates 255 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. The M340i has a 3.0-liter BMW M TwinPower Turbo inline six-cylinder engine with eBoost 48-volt mild-hybrid technology that generates 335 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. The top-tier 330e features a 2.0-liter BMW TwinPower Turbo inline four-cylinder engine that produces 181 horsepower and an eDrive electric motor that generates 107 horsepower. Together, this generates 288 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque.
Performance
Every BMW 3 Series features a smooth driving experience for every driver. All trims come with an eight-speed sport automatic transmission with both sport and manual shift modes and electronic throttle control. The 330e also features driving dynamics control with different drive modes including ADAPTIVE, HYBRID, SPORT, and ELECTRIC modes.
Interior
The 330i and 330e feature SensaTec upholstery and a fine-wood trim with ash gray-brown high gloss. While the M340i has the same upholstery, you get an aluminum tetragon trim.
The latest 3 Series models also have several features to keep you and your passengers entertained on the road. Every trim comes standard with a multi-input iDrive 7.0 system, BMW ConnectedDrive Services, BMW TeleServices, Sirius XM, a 10-speaker HiFi sound system, USB audio connection, Bluetooth with audio streaming, and the Intelligent Personal Assistant voice control system. While the 330e features Apple CarPlay compatibility, you get both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto with the other trims. Both allow you to connect your smartphone to the sedan, giving you access to a variety of applications on the road.
Safety Features
