2023 Ford Super Duty
Ford's Super Duty pickup truck is getting a makeover for the 2023 model year. The next generation will have a new look inside and out, come with new technology, and have new powertrain options to make sure it stays competitive with other pickup trucks. The 2023 Super Duty will have more towing and hauling power than any other truck in its segment. Take a look at some of the features and equipment you can get with the 2023 Ford Super Duty.
Trim Levels (Exterior)
The trim levels will remain the same for the 2023 Super Duty. The XL will start the lineup with steel wheels and automatic headlights. The XLT will add larger wheels and power-adjustable exterior mirrors, while the Lariat will have fog lights. The King Ranch, Platinum, and Limited trims will finish the Super Duty lineup with additional features such as chrome exterior trim, a tailgate assist step, and LED exterior lighting.
Engine (Power)
The new engine lineup starts with a 6.8-liter gas V-8 that will offer impressive low-end torque. Other options will include a 7.3-liter V-8 and a revised version of the 6.7-liter PowerStroke diesel V-8. A high-output 6.7-liter turbo version of the PowerStroke will also be on the available engine list for the 2023 Ford Super Duty. All of these will work with a 10-speed automatic transmission and come with either rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive.
Performance
The 2023 Super Duty will provide best-in-class performance. When equipped with a gooseneck hitch and diesel engine, it will have the power to tow up to 40,000 pounds and can tow up to 22,000 pounds with a conventional hitch and the gas engine. The diesel engines will tow up to 30,000 pounds with a conventional hitch.
Interior
Ford completely redesigned the Super Duty's interior. The XL has an 8-inch touchscreen with a 12-inch touch screen in the upper trim levels. A customizable digital instrument panel replaces the physical gauges from the previous instrument panel. The cabin gets more luxurious the higher you go in the lineup, with the top-level Limited getting max-recline front seats, and an 18-speaker Bang & Olufsen stereo system.
The Super Duty adds Pro Power Onboard for the 2023 model year with outlets for power tools in the bed and outlets to power other accessories in the cab. It can provide 2.0 kilowatts of power. Additional tech upgrades for 2023 are the 5K connectivity that comes standard in every model and Wi-Fi for up to 10 devices.

Safety Features
In addition to the safety systems from the previous generation, the 2023 Super Duty gains some new safety tech. It now offers an adaptive cruise control system with lane centering to keep drivers from drifting out of their lane, and it also has stop-and-go traffic assist. Forward parking sensors are another new addition, as is forward automatic braking. Rear braking assist will help prevent low-speed collisions, and a trailer theft alert system will send alerts to the driver through the FordPass app if the trailer is disconnected from the truck.
