It's Easier Here.

Leith Cars Blog

We’re going to change the content of this week’s Showroom and Tell. The usual description of a single car will be supplanted by an entire fleet of classic cars. It is an event that the Leith family takes great pride in, and our team is excited for its first group outing (aside from the test drives, of course). Leith Cars’ Showroom and Tell elucidates the event known as the Raleigh Classic.

Raleigh Classic

The 19th Raleigh Classic Auction begins tomorrow, June 20th, at the North Carolina State Fairgrounds. Throughout this two-day event, participants will be privy to an extensive selection of pristine vehicles that are officially registered as antiques/classics, as well as have an opportunity to bid. Each model on display comes to the auction in one of two ways: (1)  as an unrestored, original, low-mileage classic; or (2) as a restored and well-kept classic.

Even within the Triangle, consumers will find a variety of car and truck auctions. Each will have its own catalogue of interesting or rare vehicles, so what distinguishes the Raleigh Classic?

Our team ensures that each lot meets or exceeds the descriptions provided in the event’s brochure and online. Every vehicle is high-grade, both mechanically and cosmetically, which has afforded us the opportunity to build a great reputation without a massive advertising budget. The atmosphere cultivated here is inviting, and the only facet of the auction that impresses participants more than our congeniality is our inventory.

This event offers an amazing selection of rare muscle cars, unrestored originals and convertibles that date back to the 1930s, special trucks and vans, and stunning examples of British classics.

The climate-controlled Jim Graham Building and adjoining Exposition Building will house the vehicles on display. As the event progresses, and you view the many lots for auction, we encourage you to speak with us about selling your car or truck – if it meets the requirements.

You may take a closer look at the Raleigh Classic and all that is has to offer. We would be remiss if we did not also direct you to the Raleigh Classic blog, where you can enjoy many tips for maintaining classics and highlighted examples of vehicles that you can see tomorrow and Saturday.
