Our blog of the week is Leith Volkswagen of Raleigh’s post about the new Sport Coupe Concept GTE that it unveiled at the Geneva Motor show. We chose them because it takes guts to debut a vehicle in Geneva instead of the bigger shows at Detroit, New York or even Paris.
Also, the Coupe Concept is a big step forward design-wise for Volkswagen, albeit one that moves it closer to Audi. And Volkswagen could use it. Although one of the largest automakers in the world, sometimes the largest depending on Toyota’s recall list, VW has been going through a bit of a tough time in the U.S.
A bold new design like this is exactly what Volkswagen needs to be aggressive and put itself back into the public eye. Kudos to Leith VW of Raleigh for their excellent write-up.
