Leith Cars Blog

When looking for a new car, it’s nice to have people on your side. Our Tuesday blog series, Real People Matter, is about telling your stories in your words. There’s no secret to these stories, we find them on Google Plus, Cars.com, DealerRater.com, Yelp—any and all places where people go to write candidly about consumer experiences. Our goal is to show the wonderful people who work at our stores and how they make car shopping easy.

Today, our example comes from Leith Volvo in Fayetteville. This is one of our favorite brands for their emphasis on safety and family-friendly vehicles. With their Swedish origin and propensity for modest, workhorse cars, they have a unique niche in the market, not to mention being one of the few automakers to produce station wagons.

We saw a review from Barbara Hedman written just two months ago, and wanted to share it with you. Barbara writes, “My husband and I purchased our 2nd Volvo from Will a few days ago. This is my 5th Volvo that I’ve purchased and by far, Will has been the BEST salesperson I’ve ever had to deal with.”

Loyalty stems from great products, but also salespeople who will let you know if the product remains great. Products change over time, and it’s helpful to have an advocate to let you know if it’s still the right product for you. Barbara continues:

“Purchased a C30 from him in 2011 and since then, my husband and I have built a great working relationship with him. We stop by occasionally and he never pressures us to buy. His motto is if you want a Volvo, you’ll be back, and we like that – no nagging.”

Trust inspires confidence, and we like how Will spends more of his time building a relationship instead of talking solely about a car. When the time is right, it’s right.

“Volvos sell themselves, you don’t need a salesperson to show you all the gadgets. This time, he knew we were ready to make a purchase and got the XC60 all cleaned up and ready for us before we signed the deal. Highly recommend Will for salesperson and sales manager Michael was great to work with as well.”

This particular time, Barbara and her husband were looking to purchase, and because they trusted Will, the process was smooth. Buying a car is a big decision, and it’s normal to feel anxiety. We hope that wherever you shop, you are treated with the respect and deference you deserve. Should you stop by Leith Volvo in Fayetteville, we think you’ll be happy with whom you find.
