We figured we’d kick off our Zero to Sixty column by making you hungry. Feast your eyes and ears on the video below, showcasing the latest app innovation for Ford’s SYNC AppLink system.
Ford has partnered with Domino’s Pizza to create an app that will let you order a pizza from behind the wheel, using only simple voice commands. The in-car app links with your Domino’s mobile app or your account on dominos.com and utilizes your pre-programmed Easy Order, which saves your favorite pizza, your address, and your payment information for a speedy delivery.
Announced yesterday at the CES in Las Vegas, Ford says the Domino’s app will be available soon. They also announced that Ford will be hosting the first-ever automotive mobile app developer conference this June, to be held in conjunction with the annual Further with Ford trend conference in Dearborn, Michigan. Ford is dedicated not only to delicious pizza, but also to pushing the boundaries of innovation to show that your car can always do more for you.
